The Daşoguztelekom Regional Telecommunications Enterprise provides telecommunications services to state and private organizations and enterprises, as well as households throughout the region. The enterprise installs telephone, internet and cable television access points and provides electronic communications services. This was reported by the Türkmenistan newspaper.

During the previous year, the enterprise installed 16,447 telephone access points across the region, while 7,639 access points were installed during the first seven months of 2026. In July alone, 1,287 telephone access points were installed across the region. As a result, the total number of customers using the enterprise’s telephone services reached 127,520.

The enterprise is also carrying out effective measures to significantly increase the number of high-speed internet users and expand the coverage of internet services. In July, 2,138 internet access points across the region were connected to the high-speed internet network. During the reporting period, the total number of access points connected to internet services reached 9,157. Consequently, the number of customers using the enterprise’s high-speed internet services across the region reached 91,125.

According to the report, the coverage of telecommunications services is being continuously expanded in the region’s districts, cities and rural areas. Relevant work is also being carried out to install high-speed internet stations.
